HCA Inc USD 5.875% 15-Mar-22 1st Lien Notes Factsheet

HCA, headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee, is the largest for-profit acute care hospital operator in the US as measured by revenues. It is expected that HCA will generate net revenue of approximately USD45bn over the next 12 months. HCA operates 179 hospitals with 47,000 beds, 123 urgent care centres and 1,200 physician clinics. The company operates in 20 states and England, but almost 50% of its hospitals are located in Texas and Florida.

HCA operates psychiatric facilities, a rehabilitation hospital, as well as ambulatory surgery centres and cancer treatment and outpatient rehab centres. HCA has been an active consolidator in the industry, acquiring General Health Services, Columbia Healthcare, Hospital Affiliates, and Healthcare Corp, among others. In FY17, HCA made several strategic acquisitions, acquiring eight hospitals and other assets for USD1.2bn.
