Fortescue Metals Group Ltd (Fortescue) is Australia's third largest producer of iron ore and the world's fourth largest participant in the seaborne iron ore market. The company is a principal iron ore supplier to the steel mills in China. Fortescue is listed on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) with a market capitalisation of approximately $7bn as at the date of this report.
