Company Updates - MoneyTech FY18 Results

Moneytech reported its financial results for 2018, with the company reporting a loss after tax of AUD (0.3m), an improvement from a net loss after tax of AUD (1.0m) in 2017. The losses in 2017 and 2018 stem primarily from increased investment in staff, with the underlying profitability of its main operations increasing to AUD3.9m, from AUD2.9m. We expect Moneytech to return to profitability in 2019. As a result, we are reiterating our Outperform recommendation.
