Alumina Limited (‘Alumina’) is a leading Australian resources company listed on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX), and one of the few listed companies providing pure exposure to the aluminium sector. Alumina’s strategy is to participate in bauxite mining, alumina refining and selected aluminium smelting operations globally, solely through its 40% ownership of Alcoa World Alumina and Chemicals (AWAC), the world’s largest alumina business. Alumina’s partner, Alcoa Inc, owns the remaining 60% and provides the operating management of AWAC.
